Any beauty enthusiast has probably seen a trend of heatless curls on social media. I have been avoiding it for a while as I do not have a time for anything that could make my Airwrap redundant and on a budget (lol pls dont). However, I am intrigued and although I am not planning to sell my beloved Dyson anytime soon, I did get myself the heatless hair curling set from BrushArt to see what is the fuss about.
The set contains a long pink thingy (I am not sure how is it called even in my native language so english is out of questions lol), two scrunchies and a hair clip.
The process is easy. Wash your hair and blow dry until the hair is about 90% dry. There are videos and tutorials saying you do not need to dry the hair at all and just wrap the hair up for the night. I strongly disagree. First of all, it is unlikely the hair will dry fully on its own overnight in the UK (it’s just damp here) which will lead to the curls not lasting. Secondly, letting the hair dry naturally will lead to hair being frizzy and dry. So as I said, dry the hair up until 90% dry.
Then clip the pink cord thingy in the middle of the head and wind the sectons of the hair around it. At the each end, secure with the scrunchy. Leave it for a few hours (ideally overnight).
Then take everything off and brush the hair carefully. The curls should last the whole day. You won’t likeky achieve the same volume as Dyson but my conclusion is that this is a great and affordable alternative to the airwrap function of the Dyson Hair dryer.

We have not talked about haircare in a while. At least not when it comes to shampoos and conditioners. My hair routine was fairly consistent for nearly two years but in the past few months, I have swapped most of the products as I felt my hair needed change. Not even to mention that there was a pressing matter of a very unsuccessful hair appointment that left my hair orange and patchy.
To fix the yellow tones in my hair, I was using purple shampoo religiously. I have a go-to brand but since the purple shampoo was sold out for a few weeks, I had to try something else. A significant number of my followers recommended a brand called Milk Shake to me and I finally committed to giving the shampoo a go. I picked the Silver Shine light shampoo for grey hair and blond hair.
I am so glad I gave this shampoo from Milk Shake a chance because I love it. Colour-wise, it works better than any other purple shampoo I had but it does not stain my walls or hands. It does not dry my hair out, it really is light and it smells like bubblegum.
Another shampoo I am using is the Volume Shampoo from Moroccanoil. I use two shampoos mainly because purple shampoos are not as great at washing and should not be used each time you wash your hair.
In the past few months, I have replaced my Olaplex routine with Moroccanoil and I think it suits my hair better at the moment. The volumising shampoo is amazing. It leaves my hair shiny and it does not add any extra weight so it is Dyson-friendly (meaning the hair isn’t heave so the Dyson blow dry holds well).
As already mentioned, I have replaced all Olaplex products for the time being including my ultimate favourite conditioner. It felt like it is time to take a break for something lighter. I am currently using the hydrating conditioner also from Moroccanoil. Earlier this year, I went to Prague and forgot my conditioner, so I had to buy something without thinking about it much. I expected a disaster given there was no thought put into the purchase but it turned out the best t could. The conditioner is great for dry hair that is not damaged too badly. Once again, it is light and smells divine.
This post has been in making for about 10 months. Last year I tried some Olaplex products for the first time and I have been implementing them into my haircare routine ever since. I believe that I am now in a good position to share my thoughts and experiences with Olaplex.
After nearly seven long years, I have decided to say goodbye to my old curling wand. It's been with me through some very rough times starting with the first year at uni up until now. I have bought it when I was still a teenager. I must say I am impressed that it survived for so long and that it is still functional. However, although I loved it deeply, it is time to move on and get myself a curling iron that is more gentle to my hair.
About 5 years and 10 months ago, I bought myself a small
travel hairdryer. It was just shortly after I moved to Scotland and it was just
a temporary solution until I buy something better. Well, it took me nearly 6 years,
but I finally decided to replace my student not-really-that-efficient hairdryer
by something better. There is a saying I find quite appropriate in this
situation „I didn’t know I needed this until I got it“.

A jak asi správně tušíte, dnešním článkem vám představím jedno takové gigantické zklamání.
I had my hopes up for the Colorista 1-Day Colour Spray by L'oreal as I love having my hair pink/purple, however, as a nearly a graduate I probably shouldn't put myself in a position when I have to go to meet some very important people with bright purple hair. I was hoping this spray would give me the option to be the unicorn for a couple of days and then was it all off.
So I went to boots and bought this spray for £6.99 which is not really cheap especially for such a small spray bottle(75ml) but I was determined. I chose the shade of lavender as I like the colour the most. I went home and applied the spray as instructed.
Tolik jsem v tento Colorista 1-Day Colour sprej od L'orealu věřila. Moc ráda si barvím vlasy na růžovo a fialovo, ale vzhledem k tomu, že jsem v posledním ročníku, nerada bych se dostala do situace, kdy půjdu na nečekaný pohovor případný meeting s vlivnými lidmi s zářivě fialovou hlavou. Tenhle sprej dává tu možnost být zářivým jednorožcem jeden den a způsobilým dospělákem den následující.
Šla jsem tedy do Boots a koupila si tento sprej za celých £6.99, což je pomněrně dost(230kč) na sprej o objemu 75ml, ale byla jsem tak odhodlaná, že mě ani cena nezastavila. Vybrala jsem si sprej v odstínu levandulové, protože se mi podle fotek na obalu líbil nejvíc. A tak jsem zamířila domů a nasprejovala si vlasy přesně podle návodu.
As you can see on a picture, the result is not satisfactory at all. I have used a whole spray because the bottle says that you should spray longer for more intense colour. Only thing I got out of it is weirdly looking blue-ish strips. I also have to clarify that I do have very damaged bleached hair so any hair colour should work very well. However, nothing really changed when it comes to the colour of my hair so for me, this product was a huge disappointment and I will never buy this again and I will not try any other Colorista products.
Jak vidíte na fotce, výsledek je žalostný. Použila jsem celé balení, protože podle instrukcí na obalu se má sprejovat trochu déle pro intenzivnější výsledek. Jediné, co z toho vzešlo, jsou divně vypadající namodralé pruhy. Asi bych také měla zmínit, že mé vlasy jsou poničené, vyperoxidované a každá barva by se měla chytit naprosto bez problémů. Nicméně u mně žádná velká změna barvy vlasů neproběhla, a tak jsem zklamaná. Rozhodně si tentro sprej už nekoupím a myslím, že ani nebudu testovat nic z celé té Colorista kolekce.

If you are following me on any social media, you've probably seen my new haircolour already since I spamed my new selfie all over the internet. I am not even sorry because I really like this colour. I have been planing something like this for loooong time but I was lacking the courage to actually do it.
Pokud mě následujete na některé ze sociálních sítí, asi jste už zaznamenali, že má nová barva je fialová, protože jsem své nové selfie naspamovala po celém internetu. A ani mě to nemrzí, protože jsem s výsledkem opravdu spokojená. Plánovala jsem takovou změnu už dlouho, ale nikdy jsem tak nějak neměla odvahu to skutečně udělat.

To be perfectly honest with you, this is not the colour I expected. I was asking for light pink but I ended up with the purple colour instead. And I love it. I probably asked for light pink just because I was too scared to go for something more extreme anyway.
Abych byla upřímná, tohle nebyla původně barva, kterou jsem žádala. Chtěla jsem světlou růžovou, ale skončila jsem s fialovou, což je nakonec nejlepší varianta, protože jsem světle růžovou chtěla stejně jen proto, že jsem měla strach jít do něčeho divočejšího.
The reason I am sharing this with you all is that some people are feeling scared to change their look or are being shamed for looking different. I was really worried myself before I got this colour. What will people say? Is it going to be a problem in work? What if customers will complain... After being done with the haircut I saw myself in the mirror and I actually like what I saw. And most of the girls know this is something what is not happening on a daily basis.
Důvod, proč jsem se vůbec rozhodla napsat takový článek je ten, že někteří lidé mají strach udělat změnu, co se jejich vzhledu týká anebo dokonce je někdo uráží, protože vypadají trochu jinak. Měla jsem také strach, když jsem šla ke kadeřníkovi rozhodnutá, že chci takovou barvu. Co tomu řeknou ostatní? Bude to problém v práci? Co když si zákazníci budou stěžovat... V momentě, kdy bylo dílo dokonáno, podívala jsem se do zrcadla a po dlouuuhé době jsem se sama sobě skutečně líbila. A holky, my všechny víme, jak náročné je podívat se sama na sebe do zrcadla a nemít nejmenší námitky.
I have never felt better in my own body before and only thing I did was the change of the haircolour. My body did not change a bit but I still feel better in it. I think purple/pink colour is perfectly expressing who I am. In the real life I struggle to go with the flow, I usually stand on the other side alone because I just do not have much in common with majority of the people. Some people love me for it some people hate me for it. Also, some people could not care less. I think the same case is going to be with my hair. Some people will hate it, some of the love it and some won't give a fyling f. But you know what? This would be the same case if I kept my natural colour because after all people will judge you anyway. And it's just up to you how much power they will have over your life.
This whole change made me realise that it does not really matter what do you wear, what colour is your hair or how do you look like in general as long as you feel good for being you. So my message is that if you are scared to do something little bit different from anyone else, do it because at the end of the day, it's only you who have to live with yourself.
Nikdy jsem se necítila lépe ve svém vlastním těle a to jsem změnila jen a pouze barvu vlasů. Nezhubla jsem(bohužel), nic se nezměnilo, ale stejně se cítím lépe. Myslím, že tahle nová barva bezvadně vyjadřuje mou povahu. V reálu mám problém jít s davem a obvykle stojí tak nějak opodál, sama, protože nemám nic moc společného se zbytkem společnosti a nebaví mě předstírat, že je to jinak. Někteří lidé mě za to mají rádi, někteří mě za to nenávidí a některým je to šumák. Stejně tak to bude s mými novými vlasy. Někomu se to bude líbit, někomu ne, někomu to bude u zádi. Ale víte co? Stejně by tomu bylo, i kdybych si nechala svou barvu vlasů, protože koneckonců lidé budou soudit tak jako tak a je jen a jen na nás, nakolik je necháme ovlivňovat náš život a naše rozhodnutí.
Celá tahle změna mě donutila uvědomit si, že je vlastně jedno, co nosíme, jak vypadáme nebo jaký máme styl, dokud se cítíme dobře, když jsme sami sebou. Takže můj vzkaz je asi takový.. Pokud přemýšlíte, že uděláte něco trochu jinak než všichni ostatní, ale máte strach, že budete trčet z davu, udělejte to, protože ve finále jste to vy kdo musí žít sám se sebou a vědomím, že jste něco neudělali jen proto, aby vás náhodou někdo nepomluvil.

This LF beauty box is focused on glowy stuff so we can expect loads of shiny products.
I already mentioned it before in previous posts but I will talk about it again. The shipping is free for most of the world and this monthly subscription costs 15£ for each month. The value of the products is usually three times more than the actual price so we all have a chance to try products most of us would not buy because of the price. Also, the products are always good, I do not have the feeling that I am getting the leftovers no one actually wants(hello Birchbox) and looking into the past boxes it does not seem like the procducts are pretty much the same every single box(hello Glossybox).
Květnový(Máj) LF beauty box je zaměřený na svit a záři, takže od boxu můžeme očekávat produkty plné třpytu na rozjasnění pleti.
Jak už jsem asi zmínila, box si můžete objednat i do Čech a na Slovensko s poštovným zdarma. Je to měsíční předplatné, každý měsíc stojí 15£, což je cena, která se vám strhne vždy na začátku měsíce. Hodnota boxů je pokaždé minimálně trojnásobná, což vám dá příležitost vyzkoušet i dražší produkty, ke kterým se většina smrtelníků nedostane. Navíc není to jen směsice produktů a barev, které nikdo nechce a produkty se neopakují(tak je tomu bohužel například u Glossyboxu nebo Birchboxu).
The box is very nice as usual and this time it is bigger than previous boxes. I think this happened because the Elle magazine(it is included in every box) could not fit into the old smaller boxes so now the problem is sorted and magazine is actually the part of the box.
Krabička je jako vždycky bytelná a stylová a tentokrát je větší než předešlé boxy. Myslím, že je to proto, aby se časopis Elle, který je mimochodem součástí každého boxu, vešel přímo do krabice a nemuseli jej přibalovat mimo tak, jak tomu bylo doposud.

So far I really like the products included in this box. I am really excited about the body scrub because I absolutely adore coconut products. The eyeshadow seems to be very very pigmented so I think I will enjoy this product as well.
Zatím se mi produkty moc líbí, mám pocit, že budu schopna využít všechny. Moc se mi líbí kokosový body scrub, protože není nad kokos. Co se týká stínů Mellow, vypadají velmi pigmentovaně, takže mám pocit, že se budou hodit.

fun! So blog is really not my main priority but I will be all yours once the
exams are over.
Finally I
tested all the products from March LF beauty box(apart from St.Tropez cream as
I am not into fake tan) and I want to share my thoughts with you all.

Ještě než začnu, chci se omluvit za to. že teď blog tak trochu zanedbávám, ale
jak možná tušíte. mám zkouškové a třeťák není sranda. Takže blog není
momentálně mou hlavní prioritou, ale po zkouškách budu jen a jen vaše.
Konečně jsem
tedy vyzkoušela všechny produkty z březnového LF beauty boxu(až na St.Tropez
krém, protože nejsem fanda falešného opálení) a ráda bych se s vámi podělila o
pocity.
So, the first, I have tried3in1 moisturiser by Caudalie.
Lately I have the feeling that Caudalie is taking all over the place but to be
honest I was really not that amazed. It is ok, not bad but nothing I would be
losing my mind over. Plus, I did not really like the smell of this product.
Also the moisturising part is not perfect, but that is something I would expect
from the product what costs 32£(for the full size which is 40ml). But it
is always good to have some moisturisers around so I am not complaining as much
as It might look like.

od Caudalie. Poslední dobou tuhle značku vídám úplně všude a mám pocit, že
ji všichni zbožňují. Já osobně až tak nadšená nebyla. Co se týká hydratačního
krému, za 32£(za 40ml) bych očekávala víc. Navíc mi vadí vůně tohoto krému.
Není to nic, co by bylo hodně silné, ale zkrátka mi to nesedne. Nicméně
hydratační krémy se vždycky hodí, takže až tak zklamaní zase nejsem.
After quite disappointing experience with Caudalie, let's look into myfavouriteproduct of this box. It is theAqua Repair Facial Serum by
skinChemist. I think this serum what is supposed to be for people with dry
and sensitive skin is a miracle. It is very expensive, this is actually full
size what costs...wait for it...39£ but to be honest I am using it twice a day
for past month and few days and it still looks like I have not touched it yet.
You just need a tiny tiny amount for the whole day hydration. I have very dry
skin and I tend to have a problem with the right product for my skin as
everything leaves my skin greasy which is not the desired result. Fortunately,
this product is brilliant, it leaves my skin nice radiant, hydrated and smooth.
I will definitely remember this brand for future when I have graduated job and
some money because for a student, 39£ is too much no matter the quality or
amount. But for the future me? Hell yeah!

Caudalie, pojďme se společně podívat na můjnejoblíbenějšíprodukt z tohoto boxu. Je toAqua Repair Facial Serum by
skinChemist. Už dlouho se mi nestalo, abych z něčeho byla tak nadšená jako
z tohoto séra. Podle všeho je určen pro lidi se suchou a citlivou pletí, což je
má kategorie. Je tedy poměrně nákladný, ta pidi tubička stojí 39£, nicméně po
měsíci a půl používání(2x denně) to vypadá, jako kdybych se tohoto séra ani
nedotkla, protože stačí jen maličko na celou tvář. Mám suchou pleť a mám docela
problém sehnat produkt, který bude hydratovat, ale nenechá mi na tváři mastný
povlak. Naštěstí, tenhle produkt je jako odpověď na volání z čistého nebe. Má
pleť je hydratovaná, jemná a celá září. Rozhodně si tuhle značku zapamatuji pro
mé budoucí já, kdy mám dobrou práci a nepopotahuji, že jsem chudý
student.
This is the strangest hair product I have ever tried. It is aHeat Cure mask by Redken. I
received one mask in the box but full-size product contains four of those and
it costs 19£. That's 5£ per mask which is not so bad but.... Nothing cheap. So,
while showering, you have to remove the top layer to start chemical reaction
what heats up the hair cure which is weird. Honestly, I was impressed at the
start but then I tried the new Dove Advanced Hair Mask and I realised this haircure is not worth the money. But it was good experience, I am glad I could try
something different but my hair did not feel any better than after any other
hair mask.
Ok, tohle je ten nejpodivnější vlasový produkt, který
jsem kdy vyzkoušela. Je toHeat
Cure Mask od Redken, V boxu byla jedna maska, nicméně pokud si objednáte
plnou velikost, dostanete čtyři. To je 5£ za jednu, což není tak hrozné,
nicméně nic levného. Takže jak to funguje. Během sprchy sloupnete fólii, což
vyvolá chemickou reakci, která začne zahřívat celou masku. Divný, že? Nicméně,
po použití jsem byla příjemně překvapená. Do momentu, než jsem objevila maskuna vlasy od Dove a uvědomila si, že tahle tepelná maska za to nestojí, protože
za pět liber seženete stejně kvalitní produkt a vydrží vám déle než jen jedno
použití. Nicméně jsem ráda, že tahle maska byla v boxu, protože jsem vyzkoušela
něco úplně jiného, než na co jsem zvyklá.
StarSkin and their Smoothing Bio-cellulose Second Skin
Maskis my second
experience with this mask and I just liked it. I like sheet masks, however I
still prefer the sheet masks for the whole face. Starskin is really good, I had
just very good experiences in general but again, they are expensive (8.5£). You
can buy the Garnier sheet mask for like 1.5£ and it does pretty much the same
job. But it is nothing against the Starskin itself, it is just the way I see
it.

jejich Smoothing Bio-cellulose Second Skin Maskje mou druhou maskou
od Starskin a musím říct, že mi Starskin vyhovuje. Byla jsem s touto maskou
spokojená stejně jako s tou předchozí. Mám trochu citlivější pleť, ale Starskin
je k pleti šetrný, takže jsem neměla žádná zarudnutí a podobně. Na druhou
stranu, Starskin masky jsou drahé ve srovnání s ostatními(9£) a v podstatě
stejného výsledku dosáhnete i s maskou od Garnier za 1.5£.
And the last one is thePür Minerals Disappearing Act
Concealer.I was looking for
concealer for a while so I was happy it was in a box. As usual, this is too
dark but let's talk about the quality. This cost 21£ so I was expecting
something huge. And it is just ok. It covers then it disappears in two hours so
average. Nothing special.

mě moc tmavý). Nicméně, plná velikost stojí 21£ a výsledek je průměrný. Chvíli
drží a za dvě hodiny je pryč. To bych čekala od Rimmelu, ne od značky jako
Pür.

Fantastic Box will give you stuff most of us would not buy because of the price
which is cool, because some of them are worth the money and we might decide to
buy them. But as you can see, most of them are not. I just want to say I am not
harsh on the box, I love this box, I enjoy it much more than most of the
subscription boxes I've ever had together. So, I hope you liked it, next time,

od drahých produktů chci výsledky. Look Fantastic Box poskytuje výběr
kosmetiky, ke které se většina z nás z finančních důvodů běžně nedostane, takže
než zainvestuji, chci se ujistit, že produkty jsou skvělé, a ne je chabý
předražený průměr. A koneckonců, je to také pro vás, pokud uvažujete o některém
z těchto výrobků. Jinak LF box sám o sobě je naprosto brilantní, zatím se mi
