COSRX: Aloe Soothing Sun Cream

* AD - this product was gifted to me for a review

We have finally approached the summer and I am excited for the sunny weather (surely no rain in Scotland). As much as we should be wearing a good SPF all year long, I am deifinitely more vigilant in the summer. For that reason, I decided to try out new SPF, this from Cosrx. I have not tried this brand up until now but I have seen it all over the skincare community so I have been looking to try their products for a while now. The Aloe SPF sunscreen has really good reviews and the price is not too steep for korean beauty brand.

The Aloe Soothing Sun cream comes in 50ml tube. It contains aloe extract and offers soothing properties. The cream should protect from both UVA and UVB rays and it is ranked as SPF50 +.

The cream is very lightweight and gets absorbed quickly without any white overcast. It has watery formula that comes through once the cream touches the skin. It hydrates my skin well as well, although I am still using moisturiser before applying this SPF cream and I am not sure if I could do just with the SPF cream.

I have had a chance to test this cream out in extreme conditions (and by extreme conditions I mean the three days of tropical heat on my stay in Czech Republic). The cream did not feel heavy at all and my nose did not burn despite running around in 33 degrees weather and direct sunlight. I have a big nose and I usually burn my nose very quickly so I really appreaciate a product that protects me from having a clown nose.

It does not interfere with any of my makeup products.

So far, I like this SPF cream from Cosrx the best. I did not think anything would beat the Shaka Fluid SPF from La Roche Posay (which was really my favourite SPF so far) but this one did. I would recommend this SPF over the Daily go-to sunscreen from Purito that is way heavier than this.
